I think you'd have to be living under a rock to not know about this movie coming out. My age may be showing a bit, but the first two movies were a part of my childhood. Heck, I have the first Men In Black movie on VHS and I don't think I'll ever let it go. A couple of months ago I got the soundtrack to both movies, and am hoping that there'll be a trilogy combo back in the future. I saw both in theatres when they came out and this third one I have seen the day it came out. I even saw it in 3D (a feature I rarely care about)!
This movie FAR exceeded my expectations. While I didn't absolutely HATE the 2nd movie it was a far cry from the first in terms of story and just over all writing. The jokes were a bit too forced at times and Frank The Pug in a small MIB style suit didn't do it for me. I also didn't like how J had become kind of an out of control jerk neuralizing the partners left and right.
Now onto the movie. The basic premise is that J has to go back to 1969 to save K and the Earth. You'll see from what later. Anyways, I love the villain in this movie. EASILY the best one of the three. The first two were cool, but there was no real personal connection to them. This one has a score to settle with K which sets into motion an interesting chain of events. Let me first say that neither Jeebs the Pawn Shop Owner, Frank The Pug(runs that news stand), or Zed make an appearance in this film. Actually, the movie starts out with the big boss Zed's funeral...Which leads to a series of strange and hilarious events. Let's just say that K is never allowed to make a eulegy of my funeral. EVER. Let's just say that J is a LITTLE bit worried about what his partner would say at HIS funeral. He is replaced by the female Agent O who...Well, has a history with K. Not that K will be that open and just tell him! This movie made me laugh, smile, gasp, cheer, and near the end...Cry. My throat was sore like when you get really sad and I had tears. I was really surprised that this kind of movie brought tears to my eyes. So if you're seen the first two movies (especially the second) and are on the fence about this movie dismiss that thought and see this third movie. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you haven't seen the first two don't worry. This movie will still make sense. Basically it's about a secret agency that polices aliens on Earth. "Protecing the world form the scum of the universe" and all that. Some may say we didn't need this movie after 10 years, but I'm glad they did. I feel like the series has not only closed, but ended on a good note.

PS- Agent U from Men In Black: The Series(Cartoon Adaptation) makes a kind of guest appearance. I had to contain my squeeing. They nailed him personality and all! Actually one of the episodes from the animated series kind of reminds me of this movie. Did I mention that Lady Gaga is an alien? True story.
